Privacy policy

Inside the Datacenter is a static, read-only website. There are no accounts, no comment forms, and no newsletter. We don't ask for your personal information, and beyond the aggregate analytics described below, we don't collect it.
What we collect
The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard technical data (IP address, browser type, requested pages) to deliver content and protect against abuse, and provides us aggregate, anonymized traffic statistics. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for how that data is handled.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate readership: which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and what devices they use. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data as described in Google's data practices for partner sites. We see only aggregate reports, never individual identities. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or block analytics with common browser privacy tools; the site works identically either way.
Third-party resources
Pages load web fonts from Google Fonts, which involves your browser requesting font files from Google's servers. Google states that these requests are not used for profiling. Links to external sources open on sites governed by their own privacy policies.
Advertising
We may introduce modest advertising (such as Google AdSense) in the future. If we do, third-party ad vendors may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted; this policy will be updated with the specific vendors, the choices available to you (such as opting out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings), and any consent mechanisms required in your region before any ads go live.
Your rights
We don't hold personal data about you ourselves, so there is nothing for us to delete, correct, or export; analytics data is held by Google in aggregate form. If our practices change, this policy will change with them; the date at the top always reflects the current version.
